Sharpey: I’m sorry I’m a bit rusty from trampolining

Prince and Cinderella begin to dance
Sharpey: well what a cheek, she marches in here and steals the prince from right under our noses, and I’d made such an effort to look my best tonight; I’ve even washed behind my ears
Gabby and sharpey grab the prince
Sharpey: you’ve been avoiding us all evening your princedom, don’t fight it, I know you want me, they’re playing your song
Gabby: well, some people know how to make an entrance
Sharpey: …………. and an exit! Miss goody two shoes waltzes in, flutters her eyes lashes at the prince and the rest of us don’t stand a chance. Then once she’s got him hook line and sinker, she runs out the door.
Stepmother: I mean about that girl, I’m sure I know her
Sharpey: princess of dreams indeed… what sort of stupid name is that
Stepmother: you’ve got those shoes on the wrong feet
Sharpey: but these are the only feet I’ve got
Stepmother: yes, even in my glass if you have to. We must get back to the hall as quickly as possible
Sharpey: or find this mystery girl and get rid of her
Stepmother: I think I do, girls, go and get buttons
Sharpey: so buttons was the mystery woman?
Gabby: Cinderella the love of your life
Sharpey: would be taken away from you forever
Buttons: you mean you’d carry on treating her like a slave, do I look stupid?
Sisters: yes
Stepmother: stupid boy, don’t worry girls, everything around here will soon return to normal, now we’ve got buttons on our side. Let’s not forget, my well being is the most important thing of all
Sharpey: what if it was one of us the prince was in love with, would you be planning to hide us away, and here us here forever?
Gabby: the hunt is over my sweet, take me in your arms and carry me away
Sharpey: the only way he’ll carry you if is he’s brought a crane with him
Gabby: it fits, it fits

Stepmother: don’t be ridiculous
Sharpey:(calls of stage) buttons
Gabby: you never know with him
Buttons enters
Sharpey: go and fetch Cinderella
Gabby: we’ve wanted to say this for a long, mother
Sisters: shut up
Gabby: you’ve made it perfectly clear, we mean nothing to you
Sharpey: we’ve suddenly realised what a selfish old have you are, and thanks to your influence, we’ve made the life of our step sister horrendous and treated her as a slave
Fairy waves wand after funny positions
Sharpey: mum are you alright?
Buttons: blimey this is good stuff
