Each group had tasks to accomplish such as a treasure hunt with a $10 prize. Here the boys gave their group names and discovered group norms

Tournaments between the 2 groups, eg tug of war and a bean-counting competition. A trophy was promised for the winners long with other prizes like knives

Superordinate goals: Fixing broken water tank and chipping in money to see a movie :)

Prejudice is highest during a zero-sum game and at competition for limited resources
Prejudice can be fixed with super ordinate goals

Small ethnocentric, androcentric sample - cannot be generalised at all
