Contrast : Athens was a democracy, while Sparta had two kings and a council of elders. In Sparta boys went to military training, while Athenian boys went to pursue an educational career. Spartan women had more freedom, while Athenian women where in domestic sphere.

The Han Dynasty had a long reign lasting from 206 b.c.e. - 220 c.e. The Dynasty established the Silk Road in 130 b.c.e. This was vital to trade routes and to the economical success China had. The Han Dynasty were also very hard working and their determination set them aside from many other civilizations.
How did Italy’s geography make it suitable place for settlement and attractive to visitors?
Italy’s peninsular shape offered trade routes and harbors. The mountains provide a “ wall” to protect the country from invaders. Lastly their fertile soil supports agriculture and population growth.
