Indicates the presence of the train to the signaller by track circuit also.
What is a Stop Board?
Stop Boards are permanent boards positioned to to prevent conflicting movements where there is no signal provided.
How can you move at a stop board?
You must follow the instructions displayed and only move when given authorisation.
What is an Electric Train Stop Board?
They are positioned in places to prevent electric trains ‘running off’ the overhead wires.
You must not pass the board with any part of an electric train unless you have authority.
