Shock treatment?
Treat cause of shock ie bleeding Lay down get blood to vitals Loosen tight clothing Warmth Unconcious but breathing then recovery If not CPR Monitor Breathing and pulse Medlink
NO FOOD/DRINK but moisten lips
Choking Signs and Symptoms
Difficulty in breathing Difficulty in coughing Unable Grasping neck/throat Veins show in face and neck Blue lips Possibllity unconsciousness
Choking treatment?
Encourage coughing
5 backslaps then 5 abdominal thrusts
Infant:
5 heel backslaps, 5 chest thrusts with 2 fingers
Unconcious choking treatment?
Open airway
Check obstruction
Cheak breating
Start cpr and vents
Hysterical Attack Signs and Symptoms
Attenion seeking
Loss control of behaviour
If unconscious
Face no colour change
Person will resist to open eyes
Rarely happens when noones around

Take to a less observed area
No more attention that required

Headache Rapid, distressed breathing/gasping Difficuty speaking Loss of coordination Anxiety Blueish coloured skin
Hypoxia treatment
Give oxygen
Loosen tight clothing
