god is formless, beyond time and space, the only truth, the only reality. accepts diversity of all religions
ecstatic personal intimacy with God and Social Justice
focuses on this, personal intimacy (prayer) mysical union with the divine, become one with the divine. balanced by emphasis of community and justice for all
Central Beliefs
one god worshiped by many names but formless beyond space and time the only truth and reality. god is not separate from the world but prevails the cosmos, the sikh ideal is to realize god within the world through work worship and charity, all persons are equal, karma affects trasmigration with ultimate goal of mystical union with the divine.
