What is legalistic ethics?
Has a set of prefabricated moral rules and regulations.
The idea that there are fixed moral principles that are to go obeyed at all times
An example of legalistic ethics?
Murder is prohibited so an example of this would have to be what would you do if an executioner had to kill someone even though they know it’s morally wrong
What is fletcher view on legalistic ethics?
This error has been made by Catholics through their adherence to natural law and by Protestants through puritanical observance of the saying of the bible. So he rejects the idea
What’s the disadvantage of legalistic ethics?
They must include all complex situations and create new laws for it.This can produce a chocking web of laws a text book of morality that requires people to check the manual to decided what is right and wrong.
What is antinomians ethics ?
It’s the reverse of legalistic ethics and the term means against law so they don’t really use an ethical system

It is unprincipled purely ad hoc and casual. They follow no forecast able course from one situation to another. They are anarchic without rule
What is situational approach?
This type of ethics is concerned with love and people than rules.
They enter a moral desicion with ethics , rules and principles of their community and traditions.

The situationist follow a moral law or violates it according to loves need .
