Regulation of blood calcium levels

A

Parathyroid hormone –> Increases blood calcium lvls via parathyroid gland stimulating osteoclasts in bone to dissolve bone

Calcitonin –> Decreases blood calcium lvls via thyroid gland, which stimulates osteoblasts in bone to intake extra calcium
