Hypertension
When the blood moves through the body with too much force causing the heart work harder to pump blood.
- Higher than 120/80
Atrial Fibrillation
Irregular heart rhythm
- the upper chambers (atria) don’t contract normally, causing higher rates in the lower chambers
Type II diabetes
when the body cannot use insulin correctly and sugar builds up in the blood.
Insulin resistance in appropriate hepatic glucose production and impaired insulin secretion.
Congestive heart failure
Abnormal condition that reflects impaired cardiac pumping and the inability to maintain the metabolic needs of the body.
Viral pneumonia
Inflammation of lung tissue due to infection caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi
Alzheimer’s disease
A progressive brain disorder that affects memory, thinking & behavior, leading to a decline in cognitive abilities.
Deep Vein Thrombosis

Short-term management of pain.
nonopioid analgesics
- decreased pain
Seroquel (Quetiapine)
- Antipsychotics

- Acts by serving as an antagonist of dopamine and serotonin
Domperidone
- ## Management of symptoms associated with GI motility disorders
Heparin
- Anticoagulants
- Short term use

-
Acetaminophen
- Pain killer
- Treatment of miild to moderate pain
Digoxin
-Antiarrhythmics
- Increases the force of myocardial contraction.
Insulin
- Short acting
Pantoprazole
- proton pump inhibitor
- Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis
- Binds to an enzyme in the presence of acidic gastric pH, preventing the final transport of hydrogen ions into the gastric lumen.
Angina
- Chest pain that occurs when the heart muscle is not getting enough blood
CVA
A blood clot that blocks or plugs a blood vessel in the brain.

Bone disease that develops when bone mineral density and bone mass decreases, or when the quality or structure of bone changes
Hypothyroidism
Condition where the thyroid glands don’t produce enough thyroid hormone.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Autoimmune disorder causing joint inflammation
