Nerve through hole. Large hole in bottom of skull, spine goes through
Frontal
1 Flat. Bone on front of skull- forehead.
Inferior nasal conchae
Hooks on bottom side of the nose. 2 irregular.
Infraorbital foramen
Holes for nerves below the eye
Lacrimal
2 irregular. Tear duct right off nose.
Lambdoidal suture
Squiggly line on back of skull
Mandible
Lower jaw. 1 irregular.
Mandibular fossa
Depression socket of jaw. On bottom of skull.
Mastoid process
Massive bump for tipping head. Right behind ear.
Maxilla
2 irregular. Upper jaw.
Mental foramen
2 holes nerves pass through on chin
Nasal
2 irregular nose.
Occipital
Back and bottom of skull. 1 flat.
Occipital condyle
2 knobs on the spinal cord hole
Optic canal
The openings in back of eye socket
Palatine
2 irregular. Back of mouth
Parietal
2 flat. Top sides of skull
