On the ulnar border of the wrist, in the depression between the head of the ulna and the triquetral bone

SI6 养老 Yanglao - 郗穴
When the palm of the hand is placed on the chest, this point is located on the dorsal aspect of the head of the ulna, in a cleft level with and to the radial side of the high point of the styloid process of the ulna

On a line connecting Yanggu SI5 and XIaohai SI8, 5 cun proximal to Yanggu SI5, in the groove between the anterior border of the ulna and the muscle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris

In the depression between the tip of the olecranon process of the ulna and the tip of the medial epicondyle of the humerus

SI11 天宗 Tianzong
On the scapula, in a tender depression one third of the distance from the midpoint of the inferior border of the scapular spine to the inferior angle of the scapula
SI12 秉风 Bingfeng
In the centre of the suprascapular fossa, directly above Tianzong SI11, in a depression formed when the arm is raised
- Intersection of the Gallbladder, Triple Energizer and Large Intestine on the Small Intestine channel
- Caution: deep perpendicular insertion, especially in thin patients, carries a substantial risk of inducing a pneumo-thorax
*SI13 曲垣 Quyuan
At the medial end of the suprascapular fossa, Situated superficially in the trapezius, and deeper, in the supraspinatus muscle
SI14 肩外俞 Jianwaiyu
3 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T1
- Caution: perpendicular insertion, especially in thin patients, carries a substantial risk of inducing a pneumo-thorax
SI15 肩中俞 Jianzhongyu
2 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of C7
