Q

What is verbal guidance ?

A

This can be hard to understand , but important for harder skills , can be provided during a performance and its ideal for open skills , effective when used with other forms of guidance , good for advanced performers

16
Q

What is feedback ?

A

Information recieved before and after performance about performance - there are different types of feedback that can be given to help analyse and improve your performance

17
Q

What is intrinsic feedback ?

A

Comes from the performer themselves - experienced performers will know when something feels right or wrong , whereas beginners may not have such experience

18
Q

What is extrinsic feedback ?

A

Comes from an external source such as a coach or teacher - beginners will benefit greatly from extrinsic feedback as they may not have the knowledge to assess their own performance , can motivate them to improve

19
Q

What is concurrent feedback ?

A

Provided during the performance - this feedback can be acted on immediately , communication from the sidelines by manager/coach

20
Q

What is terminal feedback ?

A

Provided at the end of the game or performance - this feedback will be aimed at being more reflective and giving an overview of the performance
