There is endless questioning without reaching a conclusion.

Definition of Knowledge
Knowledge is simply “justified true beliefs”
Criticism 1: Justification can be problematic. How much justification is Socrates looking for?
Criticism 2:The concept of truth itself can be ambiguous(unclear).
Socratic Method
Process of dialog, based on questioning, that inspires critical thinking and analysis. A search of knowledge.
What are the aims of the Socratic Method?
Reveals contradictions and deeper truths. Challenges assumptions.
Leading Question
a type of question that suggests an answer, often guiding the responder towards a particular response.
Straw Man
When someone misrepresents or exaggerates another person’s argument to make it easier to attack.
Ad Hominem
Where someone attacks the character or personal traits of their opponent instead of addressing the argument or issue at hand
Sophists
People who are just trying to win argument against Socrates with logical fallacies
