Solids,liquids And Gases Flashcards
(3 cards)
1
Q
What is Boyle’s law?
A
For a fixed Miss of gas att a constant temperature the value of pressure x volume is constant
2
Q
What is the equation that demonstrates Boyle’s law
A
P1 x V1 = P2 x v2
3
Q
What are the pressure laws?
A
- pressure is proportional to the kelvin temperature
- as long as the volume is kept constant and the mass of the gas is fixed
- the bigger the temperature, the bigger the pressure and vice versa
