Continuously when the engine is running using P2.8 Bleed Air

- Inboard 1/3 LE Wing

- P1 / T1 FADEC Probes
- Horizontal Stab LE
What’s a prerequisite to Anti-icing to outboard 2/3 of the LE Wing?
Engine ANTI-Ice must be ON first
What would happen if you turned the WING Anti-Ice ON without tuning the STAB/ENG ON?
All associated WING, STAB and ENGINE ANTI- ICE COLD CAS messages will appear Amber after 2 1/2 minutes

Taking Off or in AIR mode with Pitot buttons selected OFF or a malfunction exist in both the L and R Pitot/Static Systems
What does the PITOT/STATIC COLD L-R message monitor?
Current draw to heaters
Is AOA vane included in the PITOT/STATIC COLD L-R message?
NO

What Anti-Ice valves are Normally Closed (NC) with loss of DC power?
X-Flow
How long will a cyan COLD CAS message normally be displayed when the ENGINE/STAB Heat is turned ON?
2.5 minutes
In flight, what does an amber ENG ANTI-ICE COLD L or R indicate?
Either Engine Inlet or inboard 1/3 Wing is under temp or the Stator valve didn’t OPEN
What can you expect if an Anti-Ice O’TEMP occurs?
Effected system will automatically shut OFF and then cycle back ON when the surface has cooled
When must ENGINE/STAB and WING Anti-Ice be used?
Visible moisture and RAT 10 C to -35 C
What must you do to Anti-Ice the outboard 2/3’s of the wing?
Turn ON the ENGINE/STAB first
