Palaside cell
Features:
-Found in the top of the leaf
– Packed with chloroplasts to absorb sunlight
– Tall and large to get as much sunlight as possible
Sperm cell
– Has a long tail so they can swim to find an egg
-Streamlined shape
– Lots of mitochondria
Ciliated cell
-They line all the air passages down to the lungs
– Tiny cells called cilia
Red blood cells
– Large surface area
– Has no nucleus to make room for more oxygen
Egg cell
– Much larger than other animal cells
Root hair cell
– Large surface area to absorb lots of water
– Thin cell wall to allow water to pass through easily
– Plant cell
Nerve cell
– They are an extremely long cell
– They have many branches at ends to connect to other nerve cells
