What is the biosphere?
The biosphere is living things it relies on the rest of the spheres to survive
What is a lithosphere?
Lithosphere is earths crust it’s the solid portion made of rock and soil. It is important for agriculture, plants, habitat for animals, building and transportation. Plants and animals decay into the lithosphere.
What is the hydrosphere?
The hydrosphere is all water so freshwater saltwater frozen water in lakes oceans streams aquifers and ice caps. It is important since we drink it and need it to live it also is habitat for animals. It is used for transportation and processing and we are made up of it
What is the atmosphere?
The atmosphere is what we breath. It keeps us warm and controls winds. It is made up of 70% nitrogen 20% oxygen and rest is argon + CO2. Named after Latin word atmos meaning vapour
What are the four spheres of the earth?
Biosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere
