(Abnormal flow/portal HTN, infiltrative, increased/abnormal splenic function)

A

▸ Hepatic cirrhosis
▸ Splenic vein thrombosis (e.g. from pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer)
▸ Schistosomiasis (in endemic areas)

▸ Myeloproliferative or lymphoproliferative malignancies (e.g. CML, CLL, myelofibrosis)
▸ Sarcoidosis, amyloidosis, Gaucher’s disease

▸ Chronic infections (malaria, leishmaniasis, EBV/CMV)
