Differentiate between normal ST-segment and ST elevation

A

Under normal circumstances, ST segment remains on isoelectric line.

Elevation or depression is pathological (ischaemia)

A

To be significant:
(1) >=1mm in 2 consecutive limb leads OR
(2) >=2mm in 2 consecutive chest leads
