A
- Creditable information subject is armed with a firearm or other dangerous weapon AND using it in a manner that can cause death or serious bodily harm
- Subject is acting in a threatening manner with weapon

What are the responsibilities of supervisor on STAR protocal?
A
- Self-dispatch to call if unavailable request supervisor from another area command
- Manage tactics and supervision of incident
- Determine tools needed (rifle/arrest team/low lethal options)
- Ensure Fusion watch conducts work up on subject/residence
- If legitimate threat ensure hazard placed on property/subject by completing Area Command Investigative Summary Report (LVMPD 1050
