The value that occurs most often
What is the median
The middle value when the data values are put in order
What is the mean
Sum of terms over number of terms
When is it best to use the mode
When data is qualitative or quantitative, not informative if each occurs once.
When it is best to use mean
For quantitative data
When there are extreme values as they do not affect it
When is it best to use mean
For quantitative data
Uses all values so gives a true measure however it is affected by extreme values

If the data is continuous

Data which has pairs of values for two variables

Describes the nature of the linear relationship between two variables
