Definition
A
Non stop seizure for 5 minutes. Or repeats more than once without recovery for 15 minutes.

Causes
A
Hypoglycaemia, alcohol withdrawl, ion imbalance (sodium), infection, SoL

Management
A
Approach patient in a safe manner. Place patient in recovery position.
A to E. Manage airway so no obstruction.
High flow O2 and IV access.
IV lorazepam 4mg, buccal midazolam 10mg, PR diazepam 10mg.

Investigations
A
FBC, UandE, CRP, LFT, ABG
CT head if indicated.
