1164 from Henry II. Clergy would be tried in church courts but the trial would be supervised by a CL judge. If found guilty, stripped of clerical status and turned over to the CL system. Also restrictions on appeals to Rome and Assize Utrum. Wiped out after Thomas Becket’s death in favor of pleading Benefit of Clergy and going to church courts
