How old is Ender when he becomes commander of Dragon army?
Why is it unusual?
He is 9 years old, it’s unusual because there’s not a lot of young commanders
How does Ender treat Bean?
Ender pushes him more than the others because Ender knows he is a great soldier
Why does Ender push Bean?
Ender wants him to think differently so he can become one of the best soldiers of the school.
What kind of “soldiers” receive for his new army?
Ender receives a lot of launchies and inexperienced but they learn fast.
What is the battles schedule like for dragon army? Is it normal?
Before Dragon army, the teams would have a battle a week. Now they have 1 or 2 battles per day
Why are the teachers doing this?
To see how Ender reacts when he is tired.
What does Ender learn from the Bugger war videos?
That the videos are always cut after Mazer Rahkam destroys the ship
In the battle it’s Salamander army, how do things turn out? How does Ender upsets Bonzo even more?

Bean becomes a toon leader and Ender’s friend. He also helps Ender to develop new battle tactics
How does Dragon army perform under Ender command?
Dragon army wins all of their battles with amazing strategies.
Why don’t the teachers intervene when Ender is in danger?
They want to know how Ender would react if he was endangered without anybody to help him.
How does Ender defeat Bonzo?
Ender augments the heat from the water to get more slippery, then Bonzo can’t get a good grip.
What are the consequences of this fight on Ender?
He goes into his room and cries. Later he is sent to earth to prepare for his leave for command school.
What happens to Bean and dragon army?
Bean is now set to be the new commander of rabbit army and everyone is separated
What happens to Ender after his last battle?
Colonel Graff sends Ender directly to command school.
What really happened to Bonzo?
He was sent back home, but he was actually dead.
What is going on with Peter and Valentine’s identities, Locke and Demosthenes?
Demosthenes, who is Valentin’s character, became more famous than Locke who is Peter’s character.
Why is Valentine visiting Ender.?
She visits him to convince him to go on with his training.
How does the meeting go?
The meeting went well but Ender felt as if they were strangers.
What does Valentine accomplish? How does Ender feel about it ?
Valentine learns that Ender is afraid that the buggers may be like Peter and that he can never beat them.
What does Ender learn about the buggers?
They have no type of language, they communicate by mind.
What is the ansible?
An ansible is a machine used to contact anyone across the galaxy.
What does he learn about the earth’s space fleet?
That there is none for now and that the fleet will be ready in about 5 years.
