What are the three outer layers of the eye?
Outer Fibrous layer, Middle Vascular layer and Inner Nervous layer in Retina

Cornea, Sclera and Lamina Cribrosa
What is contained in the Middle Vascular Layer
Iris, Ciliary body and Choroid
What is contained in the Inner Nervous layer in the Retina
Pigment Epithilium, Photoreceptors and Neurons
Describe the Cornea and its functions
The Cornea is the clear dome that sits over the iris and is the major refracting surface of the eye which must remain clear and smooth
What is included when studying the anterior eye?
eyelids, eyelashes, cornea, anterior vitreous, iris, crystalline lens, conjunctiva, tear layer and anterior chamber
