- mod to severe headache
- nuchal rigidity
- no neuro deficit other than CN palsy

- stupor
- hemiparesis
- vegetative disturbance

- deep coma

A
Initially increased attenuation in:
- basal cisterns
- sylvian fissures
-interhemispheric fissure
- septum pellucidium (ACOM)
Aneurysm seen if > 5 mm
Prominence of temporal horns of lat ventricles
may present as non traumatic intraventricular hemorrhage
Isodense at 48 hrs
