Superior Court - Original jurisdiction

A

SC has jurisdiction over all other civil matters except those with specialized subject matter (probate court)

A
  • 62 most populous counties have a state court
  • Jurisdiction over all cases not exclusively with the Superior Court.

That means if a defendant seeks equitable relief in a state court he must remove to Superior court.

-NO CPA. Still has compulsory counterclaim rule.
