Expressing negation When the main clause denies what is said in the subordinate clause us subjunctive He denies that his capital exceeds 5000 dollars.
Él niega (denies) que su capital pase de 5000 dólares. *but if the main clause confirms the subordinate clause then use indicative Yo no niego que siempre llego tarde a todas partes y que soy un poco irresponsible.
