Subtalar joint Flashcards

1
Q

Subtalar joint

A

synovial joint modified saddle/plane joint

concave oval facet on the inferior body of the talus to the corresponding oval facet on the calcaneus

thin loose capsule surrounds the joint attaching to the margins of the articular surface lined by synovial membrane
