Mental Retardation
Lesions restricted to primary motor cortex impair the ability to perform contralateral fine finger movements or produce paralysis or, in the case of lesions in the paracentral lobule, leg weakness.
Frontal Lobe Syndrome
Lesions of primary somatosensory cortex produce contralateral cortical sensory loss characterized by impaired tactile discrimination, touch localization (topognosis), two-point discrimination, weight discrimination (barognosis), recognition of a number written on the hand (graphesthesia), and joint position sense.
Parietal Lobe Syndrome
