Surah Fatiha

Question 1

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ١
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Saheeh International

Answer 1

I begin in the name of Allah, seeking His Help by mentioning all of His Names.

Question 2

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٢
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -

Saheeh International

Answer 2

Praise here is to praise Allah for His perfect Names, Actions and loft Attributes. By doing so venerating Him with complete and total love of Him.
He is رب العالمين، the One who nurtures His all of creation by creating them, sustaining them, providing for them, by guiding them.

Question 3

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٣
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Saheeh International

Question 4

مَٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٤
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

Question 5

إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ ٥
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

Saheeh International

Question 6

ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ ٦
Guide us to the straight path -

Saheeh International

Question 7

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ٧
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
