What did they do to identify where eggs would be?

How did they try and get higher taxes and how?

What did they make the property look like and for what purpose?

  • Loggerhead turtles nesting area – put red flags to identify where eggs were so people wouldn’t disturb
  • Dune walk over – so people wouldn’t step on and erode the dunes
  • Bend in the road – to get higher tax rate for beach property; made it more dangerous
  • Long lines of identical looking development – will make people think it is a prison, mental facility, military base, or some other non-residential negative use
