Device drivers allow communication between the operating system and all devices such as printers ,keyboards and mouses
Device driver is software that contains a set of instructions that command a computers operating system on how to communicate with hardware.
Explain automatic driver installation
The operating systems locate the correct driver for the identified device and its database and then installs it automatically
allowing the computer to communicate with a new device so that having to reboot the computer
Explain manual driver installation
If a driver is not available from the operating system, Manual installation is required.
