What signs in tachycardia would be consider DC shock?
A
Shock, syncope, MI or heart failure

If we have to shock for tachycardia what else do we consider
A
3 attempts shock
Amiodarone infusion (300mg IV over 20 minutes, then 900mg over 24 hours)

Broad complex tachycardia
How to treat?
A
If VT- Amiodarone 300mg over 20 minutes then 900mg over 24 hours
If SVT with no BBB then treat as for narrow complex tachycardia

Narrow complex tachycardia - regular?
A
SVT (tends to stay at same rate, sinus tachycardia waxes and wanes in contrast)

A
Vagal manourves, carotid massage
Adenosine 6mg IV STAT –> 12mg –> 12mg

AF

A
Beta blocker or diltazem
HF- Digoxin or Amiodarone
