step forward RF…stop forward momentum; open R shoulder
bring her to small sidestep in front of you with RF
bring her to forward ocho L at DIAGONAL with LF (firm up left hand so she will go diagonal)
SACADA with your LF her trailing RF
bring her to forward ocho R; sidestep in direction of her ocho…beginning ocho milonguero
step back LF in direction of dance, bringing her to forward ocho with LF
bring her to sidestep (don’t step)
forward step RF

repeat sequence

Waltz turn sequence (Oscar and Georgina)

parallel system…step forward with LF
step right with RF and collect
step back with RF
step left with LF and collect

big step forward with LF…cut her step and rockstep back RF
open left shoulder to lead her to sidestep; you step back with LF
she does molinete (sidestep, backstep, sidestep, cross); you pivot/rotate
RF on her sidestep but don’t move it
place your LF next to her trailing RF on her backstep and giro
EITHER walk out 6, 7, 8 OR repeat this latter sequence

  • Salida left…don’t change weight
  • Take her to the cross
  • Unwind her and lead her into a forward ocho to the right, stepping with her with your RF (get down into the knees)
  • Step back diagonally with LF as she turns
  • Track her LF with your RF as you bring her to cross
  • 6, 7, 8

  • Take her to the cross in cross-system
  • Weight on LF…bring her around to forward ocho (molinete)
  • Get down in knees and RF sacada her trailing foot–turning RF out
  • Quick CW pivot/turn hips 180 degrees
  • She sidesteps, slide your LF to sacada her RF
  • She backstep with RF…cut her step and parada her LF with your RF
  • Sandwich her foot…then pull RF back behind LF and lead her to step over your LF
  • Move your LF to parada her RF; lead her to step over your LF
