A

1) limited subtalar motion
2) rigid flatfoot; arch does not correct with toe standing
3) hindfoot valgus
4) hx of recurrent ankle sprains

What is the treatment for tarsal coalition?

A

Most pts do well with non operative immobilization and/or casting

If fail non-op:

1) coalition resection with interposition of fat (talocalcaneal) or EDB tendon (calcaneonabicular)
2) subtalar arthroresis?
3) triple arthrodesis if above tx fails
