What is Tawhid and who is it shared by?
Tawhid is the belief in Oneness of Allah, he alone created and sustains the earth and is shared by both Sunni and Shia Muslims.
What do Muslims mean when they describe Allah as infinite?
He is without beginning or end, he wasnt created not can be destroyed.
What do Muslims mean when they describe Allah as omnipotent and omniscient?
Allah created the whole universe, controls everything in it and one day bring the world to an end, he sees all creation.
What do Muslims mean when they describe Allah as merciful and benevolent?
He helps humans by sending messengers in the form of prophets so people can understand how to live, following his will.
How is Allah both Transcendent and Immanent?
As creator, God is not restricted or limited by the physical world.
How is Allah both fair and just?
He created the world in a just manner and judges individuals fairly on the Day of Judgment. Muslims believe that Allah always acts with fairness, upholding justice in all his actions.
What does Tawhid help a believer to understand
Everything they have is by the will of Allah, they are completely dependent on him
Is it a sin to be boastful?
Yes, Muslims demonstrate a humble attitude. There is no reason to be boastful with the kindness of Allah.
Beliefs about Allah being the ultimate provider?
This enables Muslims to be content with their life. Allah chooses their time of death. They have nothing to fear, whatever happens is in his will.
What is Shirk?
Placing anything above Allah is considered to be one of the worst sins.
Muslim beliefs about Christian Trinity
They believe that trinity is completely wrong as its seeing god as 3 persons.
Why do some Shia Muslims not fully believe in Tawhid?
Some believe in the 12 imams who have special characteristics and often seen as semi divine
