Define Telecommunications
Electronic communications of information over distance
Analogue Dial up
A modem is a device that converts a digital signal from a computer to an analogue signal that can be transmitted through ordinary phone lines. Ties up the phone lines

A computer program that replicates itself in order to spread to other computers . Relies on security failures to access computers
