Q

How are reflecting telescopes different to refracting telescopes?

A

Reflecting telescopes use mirrors instead of lenses, which reflect the light to form a much clearer image

Q

What are some differences between optical and radio telescopes?

A

Optical VS Radio
.Look through them VS use radio waves emitted from bodies in space
.Use different rays of light VS collect radio waves
.Used mainly at night to see bodies in space VS scientists make pictures of the “sound images”
.Used best in areas with less light from nearby cities or towns VS need to be far from cellphone and radio networks so there is no interference
