Open up the bonnet
Remove the dipstick
Wipe it clean of oil
Dip it back in
Level should be between min and max
Add more oil if necessary
Clean dipstick
Dip back in and check

Open up the bonnet
Check the level of coolant in the tank is between min and max
Add more if necessary

Tell me how to check if theres sufficient hydraulic brake fluid?

Open up the bonnet
Brake fluid level should be between min and max in the brake fluid reservoir
Add more if neccesary

Drive forward slightly
Press foot break
Shouldn’t feel spongy or slack
Car shouldn’t pull to one side

Tyre pressure info can be found in car manual or on stickers on either passenger or driver door pillars.
Check and adjust all tyres including the spare tyre when they’re cold with an air pressure gauge
And refit valve caps after

The rigid part of the head restraint should be at least as high as your eyes or top of your ears and as close to the back of your head as possible
To adjust there is a button at the base of the restraint to move it up or down

Check all tyres with a tread depth gauge
Tread depth should be no less than 1.6mm across the central 3/4 of the breadth of the tyre and you’d check this all the way around the tyre.
No cuts or bulges

Turn dipped headlights on
Walk around the car to see if the lights are working

Should be slight movement as power steering starts to operate
Steering should be light to turn and not heavy as soon as moving off
