Open the bonnet and tell me how you’d check that the engine has sufficient oil

-identify dipstick/oil level indicator
-remove dipstick and wipe clean
-replace back into oil reservoir
-check the oil level against the minimum and maximum markers when engine is cold

Open the bonnet and tell me how you’d check that the engine has sufficient engine coolant

-identify minimum and maximum markers on the engine coolant reservoir
-reservoir should be somewhere in the middle
-top up to the correct level only when engine is not cold

Open the bonnet and tell me how you’d check that you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid

-identify hydraulic break reservoir
-the fluid should be between the minimum and maximum markers
