1 mEq per kg followed by 0.5 mEq/kg every 10 min IVP

Metabolic acidosis, tricyclic drug overdose, late cardiac arrest
What are the contraindications for sodium bicarbonate?
Alkalotic states

Alkalosis

Benzodiazepine, hypnotic sedative

2-4 mg/ up to 10 mg

Prior to cardioversion, anxiety, seizures
What are the contraindications for versed?
Shock
What are the side effects of versed?
Drowsiness, hypotension, amnesia
What is the dosage for push dose Epi?
0.5-2 ml every 2-5 min (5-20 mcg)
What are the indications for push dose Epi?
Cardiogenic shock, hypotension, sepsis, neurogenic shock.
What is the dosage for an Epi drip? (2mg/500 ml)
2-10 mcg/min

Antihypoglycemic

25 grams (whole box)

Zofran
