A

emergent - tallest trees poking out of canopy
canopy - full of life
understory - darker and cooler
forest floor - large animals e.g. mammals and insects

Describe how an animal and plant adapt to survive in the rainforest

A

Plants - tree trunks tall and thin so trees can get to sunlights and bark smooth so rain falls to roots
Lianas - vines climb trees to reach sunlight
Animals - sloth uses camouflage and moves slowly to hide from predators, flying frog has webbed hands and feet so can glide from plant to plant.
