A

The Buddha was the founder of Buddhism.
He was born in India.
Buddhists believe that there is no God and that people can bring about their own freedom.
Buddha taught that Buddhists should be kind and love others.

A

It is based on the teachings of Baha’u’llah, who died in 1892.
He taught that the world should put aside their differences and unite.
Members of the faith believe in one God that related the universe.
They pray every day.

They believe in God who created earth.
Their ancestors are very important and are the connection between the spiritual world and the believers.
They do not have a book to read or learn about their religion from but their rituals are important to all who follow.

They believe that God created the whole world.
They believe that Jesus is the son of God and He came down to Earth.
Jesus died on the cross and rose up from the dead.
The Bible is the book that teaches Christians about God.
It teaches that we must love God and love our neighbours as ourselves.

Hinduism began in India.
Hindus believe that there is one God, Brahman, who is a spirit who can be seen in different shapes and forms.
They believe that no one should harm living creatures and that all living things should be valued and loved.
Most Hindus do not eat meat.

A

Jews believe in one God.
They show their love for God by obeying His laws.
They learn about God’s laws in the Torah and the Tanakh.
The Tanakh bring together all the books of Judaism and are the same as the Old Testament of the Christian Bible.
The Torah is the five Books of Moses and it is one part of the Tanakh.

A

Being a Muslim means being a follower of the religion of Islam.
They believe that they must follow the will of God, who they call Allah.
The will of God, they believe, is found in the Qur’an, written by the prophet Muhammad.
Muhammad was born in Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

A

Do not swim if an adult is not watching.
Do not run, play games or ride a bicycle around a pool.
Never push anyone into a pool or hold them under water.
Do not play games in the pool involving shouting for help when there is no real emergency.

A

Always have an adult present when the bath is filling up or when a young child is in the bath.
Place a rubber mat in the bath to prevent slipping.
Always empty buckets of water or put a lid on them if their are small children around.

How does HIV make you sick?

A

The HI virus attacks the T cells of your immune system that are responsible for fighting germs that carry disease and illness.
This means that your body cannot fight germs and illnesses anymore, the viral load of HIV in your body increases and you get sick.
