What is Apnoea?
Temporary pause in breathing.
What is Auscultation?
Listening for noises in the thorax or abdomen.

Slow heart rate.

Bluish appearance of the skin, tongue, or mucous membranes due to insufficient oxygen reaching the tissue.

Salt that can conduct electricity in solution as it breaks down into positive and negative ions.

Extreme thinness.

Vomiting.
What is an Emetic?
Agent used to induce vomiting.

Vomiting of blood.
What is Haematuria?
Presence of blood in the urine.
What is Haemolysis?
Breakdown of red blood cells.
What does HGE stand for?
Haemorrhagic gastroenteritis.
What is Homeostasis?
Ability to maintain the body to its closest normal state as possible.
What is Hypercapnia?
Excessive carbon dioxide.
What is Hyperglycaemia?
Raised blood sugar level.
What is Hyperkalaemia?
Elevated levels of potassium in the blood.
What is Hypervolemia?
Increase in the volume of fluid in circulation.
