Explain Europe as a region
Europe is large, and is considered a region since it is not a continent and is not divided by water. The Ural mountains divide Europe from Russia. Countries considered to be European are Turkey westward.

Scandinavian, Jutland, Iberian, Italian (Apennine), and Balkan.
What are the seas of Europe?
Baltic, North, Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black

The shields of Europe are found in Finland and Sweden, where they have the oldest rock. These shields also contain super poor mineral quality.
