Q

what is the order the oxygenated blood moves through the body?

A

deoxygenated blood travels to the right atrium from peripheral tissues (by inferior/superior VC)
right artium contracts, moving blood through tricuspid valve into right ventricle
right ventricle pumps the blood into the pulmonary arteries, which enter lung for oxygen exchange
pulmonary veins pass oxygenated blood into left atrium then to left ventricle
blood goes into the aorta and travels throughout body
