Writing things down help students remember things
What are included in “paying attention”?
Paying attention includes listening, asking a question when you don’t understand, look at person who is speaking and eye contact
How do we teach students to tell story
Have them write down steps and then tell story
What do we teach students to do when they want to join groups?
See people, walk up slowly, stand a little bit away and listen to what they are talking about, then you step a little closer look at them then talk about what they are talking about

Put social etiquette posters on our walls
According to Kowalski, what can ch carry to help with interactions with others?
Having them carry social ettiquete cards helps with interaction with others to remind themselves what the rules are

analyzing errors that they make
What do we talk about in a social autopsy?
We talk about who was impacted by what happened, How to correct it, How to avoid it in the future

NO. Students with ADHD do poorly on timed tests

YES African American male students are referred for ADHD (we have to be careful not to be raceist)

What is CHADD?
A support group for students and the families with ADHD
