Because they wanted revenge from the French and Indian war since the Natives fought for the British.
They brought supplies, equipment and food.
Why did most natives fight for the British during the revolution?
Because they were promised freedom from slavery *most fought for the British.
How did the American attempt to pay for the war?
Printed continentals which caused inflammation which lead to them borrowing money from foreign countries.

The British offered self rule as a British colony.
