Weber’s conception of social action and its relevance to sociology

According to Weber: we have to understand that motivates people to do things; why do people vote for one candidate over the other? Why are some people racist, and still choose to believe that they’re not?
Social action is how you choose to act with and around other people? Why do you do some of the things that you do when you’re by yourself vs. when you’re with other people? would it be socially acceptable?
According to Weber, fundamentally in order to understand a society, you must first understand human behavior. Human behavior is learned through action and growth
